Practice Poker Skills Online

I remember the first time I started playing online poker: I spent hours on my computer and never wanted to leave as the fast paced gaming kept going and going. I mean, I’ve always been a video gamer and was used to those endless sessions, but playing poker online is a totally different
experience.
A few years ago, there were several major poker sites online. I tried them all. The one I kept coming back to was PokerStars, and when the US shut down US Citizens ability to play, let’s just say I wasn’t very happy. However, I still can practice my poker skills by using a site for online poker,
PokerStars.com.
If you’ve never played online, you should try it at least once. It’s quicker than a real-time game, since each player’s turn is timed. There are various tables to join, from one-on-one, multi-tables, and 1,000+ people tournaments. You can “buy in” using play money (or, if outside the US, real money) to sit through an entire round, or you can join a random game that you can leave at any time.
Needless to say, it’s entertaining if you’re looking for some time to kill or to hone your skills. Definitely check it out if you love poker and games!
