PS Vita to boast a Twitter App
Details have emerged of the Vita to include a dynamic Twitter app that supports geo-tagging, hash-tagging and photo attachments while tweeting. The interface of Twitter is similar with the same blue color as well as elastic scrolling with the touch screen. The app is still being worked on to have better functionality and should be perfect upon release. Other apps like Skype and Facebook have not been confirmed yet for Vita, though fans are hoping for them. Dedicated apps seem to be a great thing for Vita and they should support Tumblr, Facebook, Skype and other popular websites people like to use to secure sales. Keep in mind the PS Vita is 100% region free and you will be able to play any games on it from any region, unlike most consoles that are region specific for DLC and games. Other past confirmed features have been the support of a cross game chat that seems to be missing from the PlayStation 3 due to its RAM. Vita will support this feature so while you are playing on Call of Duty, you can talk to your friend playing Uncharted. A max number of 8 people in the cross game chat feature have been confirmed. A reminder of pricing, the Wi-Fi only model goes for £229.99 ($249.99), while a 3G model will cost £279.99 ($299.99). The platform will be launching February 22nd of next year for UK and US.
