Ever since the PlayStation 3 released, the Internet has been full of rumors about the next-generation console, the PlayStation 4. I can’t wait.
While we don’t know which rumors are accurate, we still love hearing the possibilities. Here are the most spread rumors about the PS4:
1) PS4 games have been under development. It’s been around a couple of times and is possible since it takes about 18 months for a game to test.
2) Wii U pushes release date of PS4: The Wii U will launch next year, according to Nintendo. It makes us wonder if the next-generation of consoles will follow close behind to compete.
3) Controller-less sensor: The PS Move depends on the PlayStation Eye, a camera, to sense movement. Everyone wants to see controller-less play, making it more like the XBox Kinect.
These are just the first three rumors that have been around the block more than once. They are the most valid, IMHO.
Tell us what you think! What other rumors have you heard? Which ones do you hope are true?

The Idea of “Controller-less sensor: The PS Move depends on the PlayStation Eye, a camera, to sense movement. Everyone wants to see controller-less play, making it more like the XBox Kinect.” is not a good idea according to about 99% of the PS users out there, that being said, it is at the best of my knowledge that the Xbox Kinect DOES NOT recognize the human stature when one or both arms are simply against the person and has a very hard time finding your arms, head ( your body being the remote and not using an actual remote control) If Sony Would find out the bugs that Microsoft has with its Xbox Kinect and enhanced its ability to shape out the arms, head, legs, chest, hands, etc, individually, it would work a lot better, thus not having to deal with a lot of up set users.
Further more i would like to add that Sony has brought the world ” Play Station Home ” a free to play virtual World that enables the user to interact with other users making it easier to make new friends and dueling it out in head to head games…the Xbox has Avatars much like the Wii, only..with shaped hands and they look slightly better. Can you move these avatars around to interact with other users like you can with home…no, you cant due to the fact that the xbox avatars are virtually Stuck on its menu screen and is unable to be used to walk in a free roam world like home’s custom ” let the user make his/her own style and or looks. Sony home is also supported by Billabong and other high end brands that millions know in the real world, and users can just walk right into these high end places sitting in the comfort of there own home! Microsoft ” could ” do so with there ” Avatars ” if they chose to.
Free Movement would be EPIC in Play Station home with the play station eye, all though i slightly agree with the topic, but i have my own opinions. clicking a “free movement” key on the menu screen on home…just think..moving a free roam self made avatar with your own body…your arm moves..so does your avatar! how cool would that be Sony and Microsoft!! you know Microsoft, you guys could do this using your Kinect!
Rather than just flipping through dances and moves on these dance games, your avatar YOU MADE will move accordingly to YOUR body and how it moves, but please consider taking out the ” your body is missing an arm and is now a dotted line when your arm “in fact” is just right against your body”
